There are many player homes to earn throughout New Vegas and its DLC; however, not all of them have amenities like storage space. Below you can find a description of each player home and how to gain their ownership. In addition to housing considered "owned," many locations can serve as viable safehouses. They will not confer the benefits of owned properties.

By the time I get around to the Sink, I have been using Novac for too long, and am too lazy to move all my stuff . Novac is also just faster to get to since I just need to fast travel and then go inside once. Places with better extras tend to have a ton of loading screens, and that eats up too much time since I return often. The Followers Safehouse is a home that you earn for reaching "Idolized" status with the Followers Of The Apocalypse faction. Julia Farkas will then give you the key to the safehouse, and you can use it for storing items.

Got a lovely view of everything that wants to kill you and only you can access it. The 38 is fun too ngl, but it feels more like a club where you can show off the cool armor on the companions, mine all wear SM armor, reinforced because aesthetics. I tend to just stick with Novac since you can get it so early, and so cheaply.
Finally, your own personal high dollar house in the center of all the action; it\'s the New Vegas House on The Strip. Features a map marker for fast travel and amenities such as workbench and reloading bench. The Brotherhood Of Steel Safehouse is a great location to store items or sleep in a bed. You can access this safehouse once you complete the "Still In The Dark" quest.
Player Home- Goodsprings
The room has no safe storage containers regardless of how the key is obtained. This is not to be confused with the Ultra-Luxe penthouse located in the short hallway behind the reception desk. Although the penthouse is considered very large and fancy, and although a key may be found from Mortimer, it is not possible to sleep there and all containers are marked as stealing. It is guarded by two men who may become hostile once seen. It is not possible to gain ownership of the penthouse except through modding or console commands. But it has so much great storage space and is nice and bright.
Then, you need to speak with Colonel James Hsu to obtain the key to the NCR Ranger Safehouse. The containers inside the Bon Vivant Suite don't respawn, so you can store items inside them. However, the containers are "owned," which means that taking items out of them is stealing. You can also drink from the Sink without worrying about radiation.
By utility all base game houses are the same, they all have a bed and storage, location is what matters. It also has a personal teleportation device to get you to it from anywhere else. Harper's Shack is what I use, it's kind of a pain to get to initially but you can fast travel directly in front of it. It has a workbench, reloading bench, plenty of safe storage and a decent area to decorate. Easiest way to get to it is on the way to Novac, you'll see a train tunnel near Ranger Station Charlie with some Vipers around it.
Companions must be dismissed before it can be entered, but it can essentially be fast traveled to, even if over-encumbered. It contains a workbench, reloading bench, and electric hot plate, and once fully upgraded includes a functional Auto-Doc, a source of water, and various ways to break down junk. The Sink also functions as a merchant and can offer repair services.
Bon Vivant suite in the Ultra-LuxeThe Bon Vivant suite is won if one should win 11,250 chips at the Ultra-Luxe casino. The room is located among the other Ultra-Luxe hotel rooms and is similar to them in appearance. The room contains two beds, as well as two wardrobes and a suitcase for containers, a small bathroom, and a toilet and sink with zero rads. The containers will not reset, and are safe, but remain marked red for stealing, as do all items within the suite. This is the only place companions can be sent to specifically aside from their home locations. It's located north of Hidden Valley, but this mod gives you a decent sized vault with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a rec area, and oveseers office, and an armory, and it also has a secret room.

Accessible only on unpatched versions of the game or with the Dead Money add-on. One may also steal Benny's suite, located on the same floor as the high-roller suite. This room also comes with a small radio and a 'secret exit' to the sub-basement, which may not actually function. Unlike the High-Roller suite, the Chairmen will never enter this room.
The Lucky 38 Presidential Suite is the best player home in the base game of New Vegas. Not only does this suite grant you a bed and lots of storage space, but you can also send your companions to this location when you dismiss them from following you. This feature is very useful since it makes finding each companion much easier. Additionally, some player homes have extra amenities that are unique to a single location.
